  1. FEAST OF ST PATRICK - NEXT MONDAY- 17TH March is a holy day of obligation. Masses will be at the usual times
  2. FEAST OF ST JOSEPH - 19TH March- A TIME OF PRAYER AND REFLECTION AND SILENCE. We will pray and have a short reflection on the life of St Joseph this will take place after Holy Communion at 10am mass each day.

  3. HOLY WEEK 15th April. PENITENTIAL SERVICE 7.30PM in Foxrock for Foxrock and Newtownpark Parish.

  4. THE SOCIETY OF ST VINCENT DE PAUL will hold their monthly collection next Sunday.

  5. PILGRIMS OF HOPE FOLLOWING JESUS TO EASTER Presentation and Prayerful Reflection by Sean Goan, Scripture Scholar and Prayer Guide, Blessed Sacrament Chapel, Holy Family Church, Kill O Grange 15th March 11am to 1pm.

  6. FIRST FRIDAY OF THE MONTH after 10.00 m mass there will be an Exposition of the BLESSED SACRAMENT till 12. noon.
  7. CENTERING PRAYER on Monday at 7pm in the Oval Room

  8. SENIOR CITIZENS BINGO Group will meet each Monday 2 – 4pm in Coffee Dock. All are welcome. Come along and enjoy the company and games. 
  9. Our next GET TOGETHER, vintage morning coffee will be Monday, 24th March 11-12.30pm with Lorraine O'Brien, award winning and very talented florist. Demonstrating Easter arrangements and more floral inspiration. All are welcome to this fundraiser for the Centre. Some tickets €15 each, available at reception the Pastoral Centre. Raffle in aid of Blackrock Hospice.

  10. BOOK CLUB next meeting this Tuesday, 11th March @10.30am in Coffee Dock and we have a choice! You can read Nesting by Roisin O Donnell or a shorter read 'The hen who dreamed she could fly' by Sun-Mi Hwang. All are welcome to join.

  11. NUTRITION AND WEIGHT LOSS CLASS – with Nichola Flood Room 2, Wed 9.30 – 10.30am. Places available. If you wish to enrol with this group, please contact Nichola by contacting via email info@thequeenofhealth.ie

  12. FALLS PREVENTION -Weekly physiotherapist led balance classes continue Thursday mornings in the Murray Centre at 10.00am and a new second class at 11am. Class is 45 minutes duration. Please contact Sarah from 'Ready Steady'' on 085 1771160 to enrol 

  13. PARISH CHOIR Seeking New Members. The parish choir sings at 10.45 Mass on Sundays and practises on Wednesdays at 7 pm in the Pastoral Centre. We'd love to hear from you if you are interested in joining us. Please contact Eithne 086 385 6870
  14. The Slides that you see each Sunday are produced by a very small team that is severely stretched, they would love some assistance. If you have some basic skills in PowerPoint and would be willing to help, please contact Maire Therese Pierce or Vincent Nirappel.

  17. HATS FOR THE HOMLESS KNITTERS will meet on Wednesday in the Oval Room. Donations of wool always welcome.

  19. GOOD NEWS STAND - new collection of cards for special occasions exam results etc. also a large selection of second hand books for sale at the back of the church.
  20. MASS BOOKINGS can now be made by calling to the Sacristy after mass and speaking with Vincent or by email to sacristan@newtownparkparish.com  
  21. PATHWAYS – Exploring Faith as an Adult – this programme is run by the Archdiocese over two years, from September to May each year. It takes place on Thursdays evening at 7pm in DCU St Patrick's Campus, Drumcondra. Applications are now open for course commencing 28 September 2023. Early Booking is advised. See leaflets at end of Church. 
  22. LEGION OF MARY meeting every Tuesday 8.00pm Room 1 in the Pastoral Centre, we are looking for new members for details email parishoffice@newtownparkparish.com 
  23. BECOME A CHURCH VOLUNTEER - Sanitizers to keep our Sacred Space clean; Readers; Ministers of the Eucharist; Power Point Team and Zoom Camera Team. A short training session will be given, where necessary.
