BUILDING HOPE NOVENA TO THE HOLY SPIRIT - You are warmly invited to join with every parish in the diocese in a Novena to the Holy Spirit – a period of prayer, reflection and planning for the renewal of the Church in the Archdiocese of Dublin. The Novena will take place in the nine days from 21st -29th May beginning on the Feast of the Ascension of the Lord, through Pentecost and continuing to the Feast of Mary, Mother of the Church.
MIRACULOUS MEDAL – Novena will begin on 22 May at 7pm for nine consecutive Mondays at the Divine Master Oratory, White's Cross. Rosary, Consecration to the Miraculous Medal, Holy Mass and Benediction during which the Divine Mercy Chaplet will be said. All welcome.
- ROSARY IN MAY – The Rosary will be recited at the Marian Shrine, Marian Park, each Tuesday in May at 7.30pm. All welcome
ALL IRELAND ROSARY RALLY IN KNOCK - Saturday 3rd June from 1pm in Knock. It will include Holy Mass, the Rosary the Stations of the Cross and a talk by Bishop Oliver Doeme. A bus will leave from Dublin. It is advisable to book your seat early to avoid disappointment. Phone Loirin: 087 241 2611

- UKRAINE APPEAL - We have received a request from a community worker in Dun Laoghaire Rathdown for items for Ukrainian people moving into accommodation; specifically, Pots, pans, cutlery, delph, bed covers – Single and double please. A box for donations will be in the Pastoral Centre until 6 May. If you have any items in good condition you wish to donate, we will pass them on to those in need. Thank you
- HATS FOR THE HOMELESS - Our knitters are looking for donations of wool to help them to continue knitting hats, scarves and gloves for the homeless. Odd balls of wool will be accepted. The wool may be left at the end of the church for collection by a group member.
- BUILDING HOPE In April Archbishop Dermot Farrell established a Task Force called Building Hope to assess the needs of the people of the diocese emerging from Covid-19 and to support parish communities, as they undertake radical renewal and look to the future. We hope to establish a Parish Team to keep us informed about developments. See diocesan website (here) for further information. - BECOME A CHURCH VOLUNTEER - Sanitizers to keep our Sacred Space clean; Readers; Ministers of the Eucharist; Power Point Team and Zoom Camera Team. A short training session will be given, where necessary.
- WORLD YOUTH DAY LISBON 2023 - August 1 to 6 in Lisbon 2023. Parishes and individuals are now invited to register their interest in either attending WYD Lisbon or organising a parish group to participate.At present it is intended to have the option for teenagers aged 16-18 to participate as well as those aged 18-29.The Archdiocese of Dublin has a great tradition in participation at World Youth Day. This is a great opportunity to reach out to young people and connect them to young people in many parishes that will participate at WYD. A full pastoral programme for all pilgrims will also commence later in the year, with opportunities for leadership roles as well. More info here
