REMEMBERING OUR LOVES ONE

On entering the Gathering Area of the church, you will see two stained glass panels depicting Creation, to the left. The cosmic elements include the rainbow and the cross - symbolising the Christian belief in the power of the resurrection and the hope of Eternal Life. The centre niche holds the Memorial Panel which contains the names of all those who died during the year. Beneath the Memorial Panel is a white disc symbolising the creative energy and presence of the Spirit of God - the Alpha and the Omega - the beginning and the end. The scripture passage "I shall be filled when I awake, with the sight of your glory O Lord" (Ps 17) completes the Memorial Panel.
